In our opinion Seaweeds are one of the most underutilised food sources in the country. They really shouldn’t be because they’re extremely safe to harvest, are abundant and pack vast amounts of flavour. We commonly use ours to provide the classic umami flavour that most dishes require.
When picking seaweed it’s very important to know the quality of the water surrounding the seaweed as they easily pick up toxins.
