This 57 hectare area of green space is home to five species of bats, many wetland birds and newts and lizards. With grassland, wildflower meadows, and broadleaf woodland, Southwood Country Park is full of edible plants including dandelion, yarrow, cleavers, gorse, rose, and hedge garlic.
