Where do our Foraging Courses take place?

We have a list of Venues we regularly worked at and a private Forage can be redeemed at t any of our venues throughout the UK.

We have venues all over the UK from Cornwall to Glasgow and run regular events at each.

However, with a private foraging experience we have a bit more flexibility, we can come to you 🙂 Maybe you have a local woodland, park, coastline you’d like to visit with a forager – great we can sort that!

Here's an example of what to expect on our Foraging Courses

Foraging Walk

Enjoy a half days forage with a professional forager. You will explore your local wild spaces to discover the vast array of edible wild delicacies lying all around us. We will explain the culinary uses for these ingredients and you will be able to enjoy a range of pre-made wild food tasters.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Whether you’re a beginner or someone who wants to deepen their knowledge, our three-hour foraging walks are the perfect way to learn all about wild food.

To begin, we will go through the basics of foraging, how Totally Wild got started and some of the best practices we’ve found along the way.

We will then head out on our walk to discover what exciting wild foods are growing nearby from flowers to fruits, fungi, seaweeds & tubers – there’s plenty to find. We run our courses throughout the year so you can experience the changing habitats and plants through the different seasons.

During the foraging event, your professional forager will introduce you to a vast number of edible species; giving you tips on harvesting, correct identification and possible look-alikes as well as a huge range of cooking ideas.

You will have an opportunity to taste a range of pre-made wild food tasters from syrups, flavoured salts and alcohol infusions.
