Portwrinkle’s lovely shingle and sand beaches make for a perfect setting for some coastal foraging. We often find hedgerow plants on our walks here, as well as all sorts of seaweeds and coastal species such as sea beet and samphire. Remember to dress appropriately and consider bringing wellies or other shoes that can get wet due to the coastal nature of this course. There’s little to no shade at this venue in the summer, so if it looks like it will be a sunny day bring your hat along!
