Teggs Nose Country Park

This site is situated on and around the hill of Tegg’s Nose- our walks often take us part way up the hill, and so although our walks are always undertaken at a slow pace do let us know if you have questions about the suitability of this venue for you. This is an exciting place to forage, being a high altitude habitat. We love to pick bilberries here in the summer, and can find interesting mushrooms in the autumn as well as species such as hogweed, hawthorn and pineapple weed year round.
