Hackney Marshes

Homerton Rd, London E9 5PF

As one of Greater London’s largest areas of common land at 336 acres, Hackney Marshes is an important bit of green space in the city. Foxes, badgers and rabbits make their home here, and a variety of habitats reveal edible species including brambles, gorse, plum, and nettles. We enjoy our walks at Hackney Marshes for the variety of poisonous plants that can be found here as well!  Toilets onsite Free public parking Children welcome (please note that one child under 12 is welcome to attend per ticketed adult, but we do not cater separately for children on our Forage and Cook events, so you be sharing your lunch!)  Well behaved dogs allowed Cafe
