Riverside Park

6 Beechwood Mews, Tytherington, Macclesfield SK10 2SL

Riverside Park, as its name suggests, occupies the floodplain of the River Bollin, following the river over 70 acres between Macclesfield and Prestbury. The area was used agriculturally until the 1980s, at which time it was designated a country park and extensive planting of trees and other plants was undertaken. The park is now home to a small woodland as well as lots of open grassland where we find all sorts of interesting wild edibles.  Toilets onsite Paid public parking Children welcome (please note that one child under 12 is welcome to attend per ticketed adult, but we do not cater separately for children on our Forage and Cook events, so you be sharing your lunch!)  Well behaved dogs allowed
