``Excellent Day``
We had a fabulous day out foraging with Megan in Barns Green. Along with perfect weather, we had all our questions answered and felt we left with a ton of knowledge.

I have already and would recommend for anyone to do this, a great day outdoors learning about nature.

Plus Megan cooked a fantastic meal in the woods at the end! 5*

I’d like to thank Hazel and Totally Wild for organising such an interesting and inspiring event, which I enjoyed very much, as did my friend. This was a Christmas present from my son, and one which I will not forget.

The meal was amazing.

Wow what an experience, spent a very full Saturday with Forager Fez wondering around Swinsty Reservoir on a Totally Wild Forage and Cook day. I learnt so much and Fez's demeanour made the day so so enjoyable I would highly recommend and will be booking again for a day foraging by the sea.

My partner and I had the most amazing experience with Totally Wild Uk last week with Fez.
His knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for foraging was outstanding, he also had a great sense of humour which made the day fun.
We did the forage and cook, a really fantastic day, discovering and learning about many plants, amazing to know these are on our doorstep.
The venue was also lovely in Fewston with a walk through and around woods.
The cooking and food was amazing and we enjoyed 3 delicious courses.
I would highly recommend this course to everyone new or experienced to foregoing.

Sam was utterly wonderful. I came away with plants I could instantly identify and eat (spotted on the path in my allotment) and she was a warm and very good teacher. She is the reason my sister and I have rebooked to come again on a foraging day in October. She was a complete delight and had gone to a lot of trouble with the food side of things too. Please pass on to her how much she made the day a brilliant one and what a fantastic ambassador she is for Foraging.

Hi, Just a short comment on the foraging experience that I had yesterday in Birchden Woods, under the guidance of Alasdair.
The whole event was superb. It was full of information regarding identification, tastes, uses etc. Enough time was given to each species, to observe and learn the basics and then have a starting point from which to hone that knowledge, and gain confidence to seek out again in the future.
On several occasions, Alasdair offered the group a Q and A session. I don’t think that anyone managed to ask him a question that he was unable to answer.
I’m sure that the vast majority of my group, if not all, would agree with my comments.

Just a quick message to say thanks for a wonderful day foraging!
Our lovely guide Kelly was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the plants that surround us, which often go un-noticed. Every plant we looked at was explained in great detail; when to forage, cooking and food application ideas, sometimes even chatting about the plant's history and folklore, really interesting. We enjoyed some of the pre prepared examples to taste or smell along the way. We were also shown a few poisonous plants to stay clear of, I really wish this was taught to children in schools! To end the day, our guide worked her socks off to prepare a very tasty meal, which included some of the plants we had collected during the day.

As I walked back to the car park, I re-visited and identified some of the plants we had seen along the way. Such a great day, and I'm now eager to learn more!

I attended the Alnmouth course on foraging yesterday and really liked it. Fez was great, really knowledgable- so I got home and used some seaweed infused into a sourdough loaf - Here it is!

Really impressed with the professionalism of your company. Well organised from start to finish with knowledgable guides and follow up at the end and a very good book too. I will definitely book again.

My daughters Charlotte (Charlie) and Alice organised a day’s foraging for us this week, as a Christmas present. It was on a Thursday in Broxbourne.
We were helped by glorious weather but the day was made by George and Freya.
They were so knowledgeable, interesting and fun. Their enthusiasm was infectious. We had such a lovely day, culminating in a delicious meal incorporating some of our finds.
